About Me
I’m a reporter, producer and anchor who’s been working in journalism for six years. My experience in the industry has made me a well-rounded storyteller with an ability to take an idea from inception to completion serving as the interviewer, videographer, editor, writer and correspondent.
My Story
My journalism journey began at WRBL in Columbus, Georgia as a multimedia news reporter. I covered everything from severe weather to murder trials and politics. My career evolved into being a sports anchor and producer during my last two years at WRBL before being promoted within the Nexstar company at NB4 in Columbus, Ohio. My three years at NBC4 have demanded fluidity to seamlessly transition from roles such as producer, on-air talent, video editor, videographer, social media content creator and website contributor.
Pitch, develop and produce story ideas daily for quick-turn and feature-length packages
Manage multiple deadlines and schedules to cover everything from high school sports to high-profile teams such as Ohio State and the Columbus Blue Jackets
Organize, film and edit video shoots
Develop questions, scout contacts, and interview sources
Perform live on-camera in an engaging and meaningful way
Craft copy to build and enhance the station's social media profile
Collaborate with crew members to produce two weekly, 15-minute sports shows
